Colorful Lighting: Glowworks
📖 About 📖
Are you fed up with adding 25–100 blocks or more to emitters.json or filters.json for Colorful Lighting? That is what this mod is for!
This Mod serves as an addon to Colorful lighting Sodium Compat. This is more of a "helper" mod in that it can identify every light block (LightType) and glass block (GlassType) in any mod. It will be added to a configuration file, which lets you set the color of one or more blocks. This will relieve you of the heavy work. There are 3 configs:
glowworks-blacklist.toml- where GlassType or LightBlock can be excluded from the config. The emitters.json and filters.json are also excluded, too.glowworks-emitter.toml- where you can configure the LightType's colorglowworks-filter.toml- where you can configure the GlassType's color
There will be examples in these three files. I advise you to read the explanation of Colorful Lighting in order to comprehend the function of emitters.json & filters.json
❓ F. A. Q.❓
Do I have permission to include this mod in my modpack?
Feel free to add this mod to your modpacks. This mod will be helpful for any modpack DEV to develop their modpack.
How to get the Glowworks to generate the emitter.json & filters.json for me to add to the resource pack?
Go to configs folder & Find glowworks-client.toml to set save_debug_resources to TRUE. The files will be saved in ~/.minecraft/debug/generated_resource_pack/glowworks/....
Do not worry about it, it's defaulted to TRUE since v1.0.4 BUT if you are planning to keep using Glowworks, then you can set it to FALSE and use it as is.
What if I remove Glowworks, will it works as before?
These files (emitters.json & filters.json) will not be saved unless you did above and know how to add these files to a custom resource pack.
